Auditions for the BOSTON PREMIERE of BARE: A POP OPERA will be held on Tues, April 15th and Fri, April 18th from 7:30 to 10:00 at the F.U.D.G.E. Rehearsal Space at 102 Albion St in Wakefield, MA, with callbacks on Sat, April 19th at 2:30 PM.

BARE tells the story of a group of seniors at a catholic high school. The emotionally-rich musical focuses on several issues, including homosexuality, pregnancy, and drug use.

AUDITION:
Please prepare 32 measures of two contemporary musical theater songs that showcases a wide range of acting ability. Accompanist will be provided. Actors auditioning for the roles of Jason and Peter must be comfortable with male on male kissing. Both characters are young boys dealing with homosexuality issues. Actors interested in auditioning for the role of Ivy must be comfortable with brief partial nudity.

KYRA: student, sexy
DIANE: student, very naive
RORY: student, sarcastic
ZACK: student, jock type

SR. CHANTELLE: African-American nun, wise, no-nonsense
